I can honestly say that I’m now a Pilates convert. The results that I have seen from Rebecca’s classes so far are amazing. I feel more toned and so much more flexible.
I have been struck by just how much of a workout I am getting from such seemingly gentle exercises! Rebecca expertly builds on the movements week on week, which keeps the classes interesting, and carefully adapts to suit those of us with previous injuries. And it’s not just a class to go to, it’s an education in improving my posture all of the time.
I have been feeling so much happier, healthier and stronger since Rebecca has been teaching me weekly. A lot of my aches and pains have improves after recently having a child and I just feel so much better all round.
I have been attending Rebecca’s classes for the last six months. Since beginning these classes I have rarely had any back or neck pain that I previously suffered from. Additionally, I have noticed a positive improvement in my posture and fluidity of movement.

Pilates will make you more body aware. You will feel more confident and look and feel better. Our bodies are abused with sitting or standing incorrectly allowing the postural muscles to become weak and the superficial muscles to over work, doing jobs they are not designed to do. Stress and emotional behaviour can have a negative effect on your body causing pain and muscle ache. Pilates will assist in helping to ease any tension allowing the joints to move freely and without pain.
Yes. Rather than stretching to improve flexibility, it focuses on why a certain muscle is tight and tries to solve the problem.
Pilates is extremely beneficial during pregnancy, however it is not advised between 8 and 14 weeks. After 14 weeks, private/duet studio sessions or group beginner classes would be suitable. Please always advise if you do become pregnant if already attending a class, as your programme will need to be modified accordingly. Allow at least six weeks after childbirth before resuming or starting Pilates.
“In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see a difference and in 30 you’ll have a whole new body”
– Joseph Pilates
